I have never received an instant clearance. It took anywhere from 8hrs to 24hrs to get one. I think they are trying to avoid people coming to airports and realising they have not received one and apply for it and try to board because it is instant.Nothing more than red tape here. If it is possibl...

If you deal with any government agency, there will be significant red tape, so this is no different. Public servants live in another world. Usually one bad case causes the system to be revamped, so everyone suffers.I have a question though, how early can you apply to have your passport renewed? I...

I do not think you could match status match within airline partners in Star alliance. Even if you did, the status really means that you have to satisfy their criteria to get it for the next year. If you are based in ANZ, having it on Air New Zealand makes more sense or even SQ Krisflyer. Points e...

I think Qantas has their own bus (unless they use sky bus), both are approximately on 15-20mins cycle. The trip is 4-5 mins. If you have no bags, immigration and security is incredibly fast in BNE (with smart gates). You have'nt mentioned if it is 6:30am or 6:30pm. Mornings can be quite busy at s...

All these fees are arbitrary. Especially, driver's license and passport fees.
