If anyone is in Edinburgh, I’d suggest heading to The Gin Company on North Bridge for an amazing retail selection of craft gins from across Scotland. Could you do look to do article on Australian craft gins? there are so many, just in South a Australia standouts include (imo) The green ant...

Can anyone clarify Qatar's current lounge access policy for those traveling on award seats? I Know that Qatar had made a few changes in the last 12 months so I'm unclear of if these tickets would grant flagship access, or i'd be forced to fall back on my OW status.
Nov 15, 2018, 10.50 AM / How to book Qatar Airways Qsuites with Qantas Points
On reflection I can see how my last line could be construed as being critical in relation to the accuracy of the review. That certainly was not my intent so I apologise for that. I was attempting to imply I would have loved the lounge to be closer to your photos in terms of number of PAX ad gener...
Oct 24, 2018, 12.15 PM / Emirates' business class, first class lounge, Singapore Changi Airport
I visited this lounge in June, mid-week before our flight EK355. The lounge was virtually standing room only and absolutely heaving with people. It did not make for a pleasant experience. This was compared to the QF lounge which, whilst busy, was serene by comparison. I was disappointed that I ha...
Oct 24, 2018, 10.29 AM / Emirates' business class, first class lounge, Singapore Changi Airport
I think the lounge (And the QF inflight entertainment for that matter) would benefit greatly from having access to a range of live news channels from global sources (BBC, CNN, DW, Bloomberg TV etc) Even if you haven't plugged in your headphones, at least the news ticker will keep you aware of the...
Aug 27, 2018, 12.26 PM / Six reasons I'll use the new Qantas A380 inflight business lounges
I'd suggest that you should fly Singapore to retain your silver status, unless you have a really compelling reason to fly on the QF A380 which you haven't detailed? Some status is better than no status.
Nov 14, 2018, 02.20 PM / Qantas or Singapore Airlines?
I think that family member should ‘accept their fate’ for a relatively short flight, especially if they aren’t paying. But separating that individual from the group booking so they are on their own ticket would be a good start. It’s been a while since I have flown JAL ...

Reaching QFF gold effectively grants Qantas Club membership. In situations where a QFF member is already a QC member prior to reaching gold, the countdown for the remaining time on their existing QC membership is paused. When and if you drop back to silver or bronze, the 3 months you had left on ...

I probably sounds like a broken record but SYD-BNE-CNS one way in J, then the alternate in Flexible Y gets you 150 base SC’s for around $1400 (300 total at $4.66 per sc) But if you want a weekender it’s probably personal preference for the options listed above

Where are you based? That’ll help us provide some more relevant routes ? Also just to check, do you already have other flights booked you are accounting for? To obtain gold you need to reach 700 sc’s (600 to renew)SYD-CNS via BNE return in flexible economy is worth looking at as it ...
