  • You get 30 minutes to use the room, but 5 minutes of water and you can stop and start the timer again. Doesn’t sound much but plenty to have a shower.

Feb 27, 2019, 09.29 PM / What do you want from Qantas' Project Sunrise first, business class?

  • I can confirm - we did this on Saturday coming back from Santiago and there is now a screen with a list of countries. If you haven’t been to one of them, you can still use the smartgate, When we were waiting for luggage (total fiasco), customs and bio security people were checking cards a...

Jan 23, 2019, 02.54 PM / When are inbound Express Path cards actually useful in Australia?

  • I would agree that Qantas’ bed is very comfortable but everything else in F is just J+. Wines are very average and food is so so. Recently did a trip with EK - 3 sectors in the 777 in F and 1 in the A380 F - excellent on all 4 legs.

    Jan 12, 2019, 01.39 AM / Emirates Boeing 777 first class (Singapore-Brisbane)

  • Flew OEB to Santiago in January. Left 4 hours late, because first the Entertainment system wasn’t working (they never got it to work adequately), then one of the galleys wasn’t working. Horrible Business class experience. Said at the time it needed to be put out of its misery, so...

Feb 01, 2019, 03.33 PM / Last Qantas 747 with F seats being phased out

  • You have your QC membership that will get you into all the AA ones. To be quite honest they are pretty marginal (apart from the Flagship ones which are nice). They give you a quiet place to sit and a drink and a few snacks.

May 23, 2018, 04.42 PM / US Domestic Lounge Access

  • I have flown all over the world with the tags on and never had a problem (nor been told to take them off at Canberra airport), however my daughter has been told to remove them when flying out of Canberra, so who knows.....
