Jan 18, 2019, 06.09 PM / Qantas flyers to soon have access to Auckland's outbound express path
Have they actually built a proper express lane in Auckland in the last 2 months or something? The previous arrangement was a complete joke. You walk in the same queue until the last 2 metres (up to the corner pillar) and then once you get past passport control you’re stuck in the same secu...

So am I understanding this correctly.. following the devaluation of membership ascent premium on the Platinum Charge, your existing points balance will be devalued by 50% (from 1:1 to 2:1), but the actual earning rate will change from 1:1 to 2.25:1 for everyday purchases?Apart from axing the dini...

But international flights on QF (and certainly not JQ) will not have access to the NZ lounge as lounge access is only for NZ-operated QF-marketed domestic NZ flights.

Also seems like SYD/PEK on QF 107/108 have finally gone fully flat on the refurb'd 332s, at least both for my Jan trip and the Apr one.

Echoing the sentiment that many others have shared, I've flown MH many times in the last few years in Y, J and F both short haul and long haul, and barring a handful of times, I've received nothing but quality and attentive service. Their MHUpgrade program is especially good value seeing that you...
Dec 03, 2018, 04.21 PM / Using Qantas points on Malaysia Airlines
It’s probably because the KUL/SYD and SYD/MEL flights are married segments. If that’s the case, the KUL/SYD seat is only available in conjunction with the other flight and not available individually.I’ve had this happen before when booking a oneworld RTW reward through Qantas.
Oct 23, 2018, 12.43 AM / Can't book just KUL-SYD leg, QF website forces me to take KUL-SYD-MEL
Has anyone had experience requesting a larger vehicle from Emirates for their chauffeur drive service?I have a few flights coming up with 1 pax will be in J and 2 pax in Y (SYD-DXB,DXB-LED,LHR-DXB-SIN), the flights were marketed and ticketed by QF, and so the chauffeur drive was requested through...
Oct 17, 2018, 04.01 PM / EK chauffeur drive requesting extra seat
There are only less seats in Business on the 333 compared to the 2 remaining non-refitted 332s (the refitted 332s have the same seat count in Business as the 333) because the old layout was 2-2-2 whereas the new one is 1-2-1.In any case, the 333 has more seats in Economy than any of the 332s.
Oct 08, 2018, 08.06 AM / A330, 200 vs A330, 300 - Qantas
As Aer Lingus are not part of the oneworld alliance anymore (it’s now merely owned by IAG which also happens to own oneworld alliance members BA and IB) - so you wouldn’t get access to the BA lounges using your QFF membership card. There were talks about them re-joining but that does...
