  • I am curious if Qantas could relocate to Terminal 4 in the long term. Cathay use this terminal so there would be a One World partner. There is probably more space there to create a new flagship lounge. I don't know if any gates can cater for an A380, or if they can be upgraded to cater for the A3...

Jul 06, 2018, 12.06 PM / Qantas Club members lose access to Singapore lounge until September

  • I see this concept providing great flexibility/utilisiation for the fleet. If QF fit/provide on the upper deck the number of business seats required for medium haul, e.g. Asia, this is typically less than long haul (US & Europe). Then add the bed module or two when travelling to Europe and th...

  • As a QFF Platinum and a Singapore PPS I now avoid flying with Qantas to Australia as the lounge is too crowded. It is not the only consideration when purchasing a ticket but a significant one.

Jun 07, 2018, 10.27 AM / Qantas is turning travellers away from overcrowded Singapore lounge

  • Another own goal by Qantas. I am a 2400-3000 status a year person with about two thirds on Qantas. The latest change means that once a get to platinum I will change to another airline. Qantas are going to lose out on $30,000-$50,000 from a loyal customer. Mad!

Dec 15, 2017, 03.33 PM / Qantas tightens Partner Gold rules for Platinum frequent flyers

  • Strange move by Qantas. This disincentives those who typically earn 2000-2500 status credits a year, such as myself from flying with Qantas. Once I have reached platinum I will now transfer to Singapore Airlines and try for PPS Soliatire

  • Even if Qantas are planning something for Singapore I still think all those people that travel regularly to Singapore or London via Singapore have been let down. Not addressing the lounge with the most complaints is not good PR. Qantas could easily have said that they are reviewing their options ...

Aug 24, 2018, 12.35 PM / No money for the Qantas Singapore Lounge

  • I was at both the Qantas and AA lounge last night (travelling F on QF, and neither were much to write home about. I preferred sitting in a bar and watching the sport. That said I also visited AA's flagship lounges in New York and Chicago in the last week and they were fine/good. Good for a domes...

    Oct 31, 2017, 02.44 PM / Lounge access DFW

  • I agree with most of the comments above that people who spill over to another seat should have to pay for the adjacent seat. One of the strangest reasons I have been delayed before is that there were so many oversized people on a flight from London to Rome that there were not enough extension seat...

  • I am PPS with Singapore and Platinum with Qantas and if I had to choose I would go with Qantas. The key points that sway my decision are One World have a better standard of lounges worldwide and I find it easier to earn Qantas points rather than Kisflyer miles

Oct 09, 2017, 12.47 PM / Singapore Airlines (Krisflyer) Gold or Qantas Gold?

  • I have a business trip coming up in November where I need to travel from Sydney to Nanjing, then on to Osaka and back to Sydney. The two airlines that fly direct from Nanjing to Osaka are Juneyao and China Eastern. I have flown China Eastern on their A330 but not on the rostered A321. Has anyone ...
