  • "I don't think law abiding is quite the right word, but these people do generally know the rules much better, and as such, have an easier time at security. They know to take off jackets and shoes in advance, not to bring liquids etc." - utter nonsense. Frequency of flying and specifically b...

  • Downvoters on war path! Ok, I get it - PE pax more law abiding than economy; business more law abiding than PE and first class pax are most law abiding. Just a curiosity though. Who is more law abiding from First class pax - those who flying in suites or "ordinary" First class pax? LOL!!!!

  • I think this is exactly what will happens. It may be hope that they put upgrade by points base on status first (IMHO unlikely) but you pretty much should forget about free upgrade. As least on AUS-HKG route.

  • I think it either useless because plenty of eligible for upgrade pax exists with plenty of points (on my last trip both flight MEL-HKG and HKG-MEL was full). Or they stop upgrade by points in favor upgrade by money. This or that way it means that there will be no "surprise" upgrade anymore when c...

  • I do not understand down-voters because you 100% correct - it is rubbish. If you wish to hold you can easy hold for few hours like you have nothing else to do or you do not need your phone. You can opt for them call back and they do. Though you may wait whole day for them call back and they have ...

  • During overnight flight I would rather rest after feeding myself in lounge. Though resting while everybody around eating not really easy - lights, noise. Also I am not sure what king of lounges in PER.

  • I personally do not really found A350 seats "streets ahead" of A330 - they are newer and indeed there is more storage. However it is strongly seems to me that hole where you tuck your feet is tighter in A350.I will happily fly on any CX airplane - it is truly fantastic company to fly with.

  • It fully and truly sux. Trying to search flight to Europe WAY in advance. Separate booking MEL-HKG by CX is available as well as flight from HKG to Europe. However if I try to book in one go I have "business" tickets where "your flight from MEL to LHR will be in Economy". It is not only inconveni...
