  • Don't switch to any Australian program - they all have huge taxes and fees and the amount of points required for redemption bookings is often 50% more than in the US.Stick with a US program, even if you earn less, it is still worth it!

  • I flew on a LATAM A350 JFK-GRU a couple of months ago and the toilet door was already having issues closing... Not sure what is going on!?!

  • I believe you will have to clear customs and immigration - whether or not you have carry on or checked bags.   • The best part of the Aussie Amex MR program is the ability to transfer to SPG at around 2 MR Gateway: 1SPG. You can then transfer to lots of different airlines from there. Might take a little longer, but in the US, you can only transfer to SPG at 3:1 which is terrible.
