Looks roughly Range Rover Evoque size. Pleasant as a second car runabout (assuming you can afford it), but not practical in terms of medium/full size SUV luggage space
Jul 17, 2017, 02.34 PM / First look: Jaguar E-Pace SUV is a luxury soft-roader
10 of the Gatwick A320s were somewhat strangely all purchased second(or third) hand a few years back from a variety of different airlines, as a plan to speed up the withdrawal of the 737 fleet.
May 19, 2017, 06.40 AM / Best seats in British Airways' A320 Club Europe business class
On flights of an hour or so, the seat is not much of an issue, but on three hour flights such as Malta, there is no fun in sitting like this. BA needs to consider some form of onboard entertainment offering too!
May 18, 2017, 11.59 AM / Best seats in British Airways' A320 Club Europe business class
If flying economy, give me an Air New Zealand A320 any time. If Koru or FF, then seats on left hand side of plane offer more leg room, entertainment is good and drinks can be ordered from seat. Also far less people to board the plane than an A380. In business class, however I would rather take Em...
May 18, 2017, 11.56 AM / AirNZ CEO: Emirates' trans-Tasman A380 flights 'not a big threat'
Practicalities aside, this might potentially open up flights to more regional NZ destinations such as Napier or Hamilton, where it is currently not cost effect to provide full immigration facilities.
Mar 17, 2017, 06.02 PM / Qantas wants travel to NZ to be just like travel within Australia
Great to watch once, but as a request flyer 6 minutes of this on a regular basis would be sleep inducing. All credit, however, for BA to show some imagination and produce a quality video and indeed combining it with a change for good message.
Jul 21, 2017, 08.53 AM / British Airways' new 'Comic Relief' safety video
Passed through Auckland Airport the other week and immigration was a breeze with electronic gates for those passports which can be electronically read. Baggage delivery prompt and customers bearable, even with having to have all incoming baggage x-rayed. If time is not of the essence too, Aucklan...
Jun 13, 2017, 10.04 AM / First Time First Class Flyer
So far, so good on flights both in Australia and NZ. No different from like of Ryanair and Easyjet. Where they appear to let themselves down, is when things go wrong. Too many cancelled/delayed flights with customers treated poorly as a result. A QF gold card means nothing out of Napier, as no do...
May 19, 2017, 04.13 PM / Does Jetstar deserve the title of World's Worst Airline?
QR will from Sydney, once the A380 starts flying there.
Sep 16, 2016, 09.02 AM / Which airline and route for flying first class between Melbourne and London?
A nice position to be in. Take a look at Etihad and Qatar Airways for something completely different. Limos included I believe as well. Cathay Pacific is a safe option via Hong Kong, with great lounges. As three of you are flying together and may wish to chat, consider whether you need an airli...
