  • In my experience most HDMI wall outlets (in the hotel rooms that have them) aren't actually connected to the TV, so it can be a task to plug a cable into the back of wall mounted TVs.

  • Intriguing... I wasn't aware they had upgraded Melbourne-Singapore and Sydney-Bangkok to A380 services. It seems like there's plenty of capacity between Brisbane and Singapore though.I'd certainly welcome an EK A380 service to Singapore.

  • This is easily beaten by a carefully planned ex-JNB DONE4/DONE5 that's coupled together with a DSC promo. At least that's what I managed to achieve a couple of years ago, earning status credits at a rate of $2.99 each (versus $3.75 per status credit for the fare you've highlighted).
