They are retroffiting the lounge eventually. I would suggest the Emirates lounge (which Qantas biz and Gold/above have access to).

If you can find the award space, go for the Qantas flight. It's a newer plane, arguably better airline, seats are better, etc. If you have extra points, could be worth putting in an upgrade request or outright redeeming for business class (though hard to find) for greater comfort!

It seems that QF95 isn't running at all that day. If you wanted that specific time, I would suggest flying QF10 to MEL and then onwards to SFO with QF49.
