Speaking to someone in Canberra who's a CL member, senior advisors (at least for cabinet ministers) get CL too.
Dec 25, 2018, 04.13 PM / What it's really like inside the Qantas Chairman's Lounge
As far as the MEL international J lounge goes, it will probably move into the new T2 expansion that they're starting on in oct 2019. For anyone curious, it seems they're planning on squaring off the terminal by filling in much of the empty space between the main building and the gate 12-20 pier, ...
Nov 01, 2018, 01.28 PM / Qantas Club domestic lounge, Melbourne Airport
I wonder if QF would consider purchasing a fleet to someday replace the 717s. They're pretty similar in specs.
Oct 30, 2018, 12.54 PM / Delta's new Airbus A220 first class revealed
I found this to be the most interesting part: "First class is available on thousands of routes globally, though only about 20 of them attract more than 10 paying customers daily for the service". Sep 23, 2018, 12.04 PM / 9 747s Remain
VA award space to LAX in J is notoriously tight. Probably even tighter than QF J availability to LAX, with seats almost never being released.Unsold seats open up sometimes a week or two out from departure if you're feeling brave.
Aug 15, 2018, 11.32 AM / Where are the Virgin Australia award seats to LA?
Free exit row seat selection, being able to select the good seats on the aircraft (eg. row 4 on the 737s, seat 1A etc.) right from time of booking, being able to get ahead of the hoards of WPs fighting for points upgrades, a bottle of wine each year, and most of all, white coasters are the main b...
