I usually just live with a flat phone rather than carry battery banks, let alone power boards! That’s not a solution!I recently bought a carry on suitcase with 2x USB ports built in (10000mAh battery I think). One at 1 amp for phone and one at 2 amp for tablet. Nice to have, elegantly inte...
Oct 22, 2017, 07.53 PM / Power up: keeping your tech juiced up when you travel
Never seen the point of it. Much rather maximise time in lounge/airport and not head to the plane until boarding is well under way. It's always staggered me that people consider priority boarding a "perk", it's more like a punishment. Only time I like to board first is when I'm in economy and in...

Thanks. Still a good card nevertheless for redeeming flights.

Sep 28, 2017, 11.39 AM / Warning: South African Airlines technically trading insolvent
FlexiRoam looks great, will solve my needs when I'm in hopping back and forth between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan and South American coverage is decent enough. That coupled with an EU sim card is a pretty good solution I think.
Sep 23, 2017, 02.54 PM / Best SIM cards for data in obscure destinations
Not having a lot of luck here, but wanting SIM cards with data, mainly to use uber when overseas. Couldn't care less about phone calls and texts. Because I'm going to so many countries in a short space of time, I would prefer regional solutions rather than country-specific if it's possible. I wou...
