While it codeshares with QF, is there some resistance among Australians who are not of mainland Chinese origin to flying MU, CZ or AC? (I'm omitting CI as that's Taiwanese).

I don't like the idea of doors in such a small space. I want to be able to see the window (preferably open). Philippine Airlines 1-2-1 suites (not mentioned in the article) are also Thompson Vantage XL and are good enough, yet they thankfully don't have doors.

Not only is it 'not cool', but it also holds up departure. At busier times that means missed ATC departure slots and (especially if travelling down to MEL) holding patterns.

Dec 07, 2018, 09.04 PM / VA and Phillipine Airlines
Maybe VA is using 'partnership' in an extremely loose sense to indicate, as occurs, that normally PR passengers booked to or from other Australian domestic (or some VA international ports like NAN) will normally travel on VA and not QF/JQ. Like you, I don't know of any other relationship PR has ...

I agree, and while we all understand that these sites must attract advertising content (or 'advertorials') to make money for the owners and pay for any staff, I really wonder what pages about watches or upmarket cars have to do with business travel.Nothing, in my view. The site should stick to its...
