Oneworld alliance member Qatar Airways now boasts its own luxury business class and first class lounge at Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport, with seating for more than 200 guests.

Located in Terminal 1 and spanning over 1,000 square metres, it’s a significant upgrade from the Air France Salon Premiere lounge previously offered in the French capital: now with a far more modern look and feel, beginning in the dining area with both traditional tables and colourful booth seats…

… and observed also in the relaxation zone with a central water feature, surrounded by seating for solo flyers, duos and groups, plus a number of semi-private nooks off to the sides:

Elsewhere: two roof terraces from which passengers can spot the Eiffel Tower, shower facilities, both male and female prayer rooms, Mac computers and a brasserie and deli aside a fully-stocked bar and barista coffee station:

Naturally, wireless Internet access is available throughout, with the lounge now open to Qatar Airways’ business class and first class travellers departing from Paris.

Australian Business Traveller has contacted Qatar Airways to determine whether Oneworld Sapphire and Emerald frequent flyers – including Qantas Gold/Platinum and Qatar Airways Privilege Club Gold/Platinum – can also access this lounge when booked in economy, and will provide an update once confirmed.

can't wait to try the lounge out in May.  Had been disappointed when reading what was on offer previously.  My F flight to BKK got a whole lot better.

This is great - The lounge way so bad when I visit it last year, I decided to just sit at the food court instead while I wait (not that long).

Looking forward to this whenever I get to go with Qatar again!

It looks like Qatar Airways is more classier than Air France! I have always enjoyed Qara

I find it a bit odd ball seeing Qatar using terminal 1, since i heard terminal 1 at CDG is generally for star alliance flights

Looks very nice, and very similar to Qatar's London Heathrow T4 lounge. Eager to hear about the lounge access rules as Qatar is known for doing its own thing when it comes to OneWorld members!

Is this the same terminal CX departs from? I assume CX F boarding pass will get me in?

Report on AFF that OW elites flying Y are NOT given access to this lounge, and instead provided with an invite to the iCare Lounge - so it looks like QRs special rules from DOH and LHR are also in force here.

Seemingly a BKK and BEY lounge are also under construction.
