It's an article which wraps up recent 'new hotel opening' pieces we've done, similar to our regular and very popular 'Friday frequent flyer wrap' articles. With so many stories each day we find that many of the useful frequent flyer stories we run can easily be overlooked – so the wrap is part remedy, part recap. We're experimenting to see if this same treatment can be applied to our 'new hotel' articles.

What about the new Crown hotel at Barangaroo?

It's also a shame Australia doesn't have any old world style hotels like in North America and Europe.

It needs a serious update unfortunately. It's a little too old world. A far cry from hotels like The London Ritz.

Err, Double Bay is a little out of the way. Unless all the power suits you're meeting live in Rose Bay and Bellevue Hill, which is possible.
