New hotels for travellers to Brisbane

Planning a business trip to the Sunshine State? Visitors to Brisbane are about to be spoilt for hotel choices over the coming years, with several global brands and chains expanding their existing networks by opening their first Brisbane hotels.

Included on that list is Starwood with the newly-opened Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane hotel and the W Hotel Brisbane also on the way, along with the Capri by Fraser apartment hotel – the first of its kind in Brisbane for Frasers Hospitality.

Brisbane Airport will also play home to new Pullman and Ibis hotels, so whether you're heading into town or just stopping over at the airport, here’s what’s on the map for travellers to Brisbane over the next few years.

    Pity still no IHG properties they seem to be disappearing. All the NT porperties are now Hilton, same in Cairns.

    Any news on them Chris?  Is it time to make the change?

    Nothing to report on that front airADL.

    IHG currently has three properties in Queensland – two at Surfers Paradise and the Sanctuary Cove Resort, although none in Brisbane.

    Thanks if you can sniff around that would be great

    Recently 3 in NT gone, Cairns, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Perth 2 gone I goto Aisa whihc there is a wide choice everywher but if they continue to disappear in Australia I wonder if a change is better off

    I wondered if they had a plan to re enter these ares or if anyone has any better frequent hotel programs
