Canopy by Hilton is the latest brand to join the Hilton HHonors portfolio, styled around lifestyle-orientated business travellers and expected to open its first property in 2015.
The chain has designed the brand around four key pillars: great locations; comfort and design, with no two Canopy hotels the same; more included value through free Wi-Fi, breakfast, a welcome gift and a wine, beer or spirit tasting in the evenings for all guests; and one-stop service.
"Canopy by Hilton will deliver more choice and control for guests than ever before, from a mobile straight-to-room arrival to surprising extras throughout each stay," said Jim Holthouser, Executive Vice President, Global Brands, Hilton Worldwide.
"The demands and preferences of today's travellers continue to evolve, and Canopy by Hilton creates something new for consumers”.
Canopy hotels will open either as new-builds or through converting existing properties, with eleven locations already on the radar spanning the U.S. and the U.K..
Included on the list is London, Washington D.C., San Diego and Miami, with hotels also planned for Nashville, Savannah, Indianapolis, Charlotte, Oklahoma City and Ithaca, along with Portland (pictured below).
Members of the Hilton HHonors loyalty scheme will be able to earn and redeem points at Canopy by Hilton hotels, while Gold and Diamond members can enjoy perks such as bonus points and free room upgrades during their stay.
