Emirates retimes Perth flights: faster connections to Europe, USA

Perth residents jetting to Europe and the USA on Emirates will soon enjoy faster connections and a shorter overall journey time, with the airline retiming its afternoon EK423 Perth-Dubai flight.

From October 27, EK423 moves from a 3:10pm departure to a 5:50pm take-off, slashing the transit in Dubai to less than two hours when flying onwards to London Heathrow, and just shy of three hours when connecting onwards to Milan.

Other destinations with improved connections due to the later flight departure include Rome, Paris, Frankfurt and Manchester in Europe and Dallas and Washington in the United States.

Emirates’ other two daily flights from Perth to Dubai – EK425 departing at 6am and EK421 departing at 10.20pm – remain unchanged.

Also untouched is the inbound leg from Dubai to Perth operated by the same aircraft, with EK422 continuing to reach Perth just after lunch at 12:25pm.

Are the re-timed flights as a result of the runway works, or have they finished?

EK420/1 will be the first A380 if a superjumbo service is to start.
