LAX online check in

My wife received a message on her iPhone that she couldn't check in using the QF App but could only do so via either a PC or Ipad , anyone else come across this problem ?

That is weird does she have the latest app update ?

I've encountered this situation a number of times. Sometimes its because they had to check my passport and documents etc, the other was because I wasn't updated on the latest version. After a quick update of the app, I could check-in.
