Sydney to Fiji Business Class - Qantas Business Lounge.

Hello all,

Long time lurker first time poster!

I am travelling to Nadi (Fiji) on Tuesday with Fiji Airways travelling in Busienss... Flights were booked with Qantas FF points and I have a FJ flight number and not a QF.

I understand from a previous ausbt post that I will have access to the lounge in Sydney due to travelling on business.

Can anyone share their experience? Thanks

As they are not members of Oneworld it is not sure so check at check-in they may have an arrangement.

Fiji Airways' business class passengers can access Qantas lounges in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Auckland, Wellington, Honolulu and LAX (the Oneworld Lounge), plus the Virgin Australia lounge in Adelaide, the Hong Kong Airlines lounges in HK, the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse in SFO, the Manaia Lounge in Christchurch and the Dnata lounge in Singapore. FJ flight number with a business class seat is sufficient. The whole 'QF flight number' thing only matters if you're in economy and accessing a lounge based on your Qantas status (or Qantas Club membership, in some ports).

Why the Virgin lounge in ADL? We are flying FIJI Airways ex ADL soon, unfortunately 1 of us in economy as business was sold out. I was expecting no guests in QF lounge. Wondering in my Gold Velocity would help, if it is in fact the Virgin lounge.?

I'm booked to fly Syd-Nadi next August and the Qantas App shows a FJ number and lets me know I can relax in their Business Lounge before the flight
