Hi There I will be at SFO soon and I am keen to know if an Australian issued  Qantas American Express Ultimate Card will get me into the Sentinel lounge

The FLYSFO website says:
Platinum Card® and Centurion® Members enjoy complimentary access to the Lounge. All other Card Members may purchase a one-day pass for $50, subject to availability.

Centurion Lounge dot com says:

Access to The Centurion Lounge is complimentary for global Platinum Card® and Centurion® Members. ...

Note: ...

All other Card Members with a valid American Express® Credit or Charge Card are eligible to purchase access to the Lounge for $50 per day, subject to space availability.

A write up by Chris earlier this year says your card will grant you access to Sydney's, so I don't imagine why it'll be any different for SFO.

I'll post the link to Chris's write up below (because it'll have to be approved), but you can hunt it out "

Who can access the American Express Sydney Airport lounge?"

As on the AMEX website, any AMEX card will get you through the door at Centurion Lounges in the USA (no such thing as an AMEX 'Sentinal' lounge) - you just have to pay US$50 per person unless you have the Platinum Charge or Centurion cards.

Only exception are 'Centurion Studio Lounges' which only accept Platinum Charge and Centurion cardholders, such as in Seattle where the lounge is smaller than your typical Centurion Lounge, so it's more by necessity than exclusivity. :)

If you want to see what a typical Centurion Lounge offers in the USA, take a look at my review of the AMEX Centurion Lounge in New York.

The SFO lounge is not big and access to non-platinum or centurion card holders can be denied if its full. However they keep seats reserved and free for centurion card holders.

FYI Flash your Centurion card at the bar for a better quality Champers and a special cocktail.
