Velocity Review date - new card

My review date has been and gone and I have received the lovely email congratulating me on maintaining my platinum status.
However the new card has not arrived and all Velocity can tell me is that it was sent on the 20th September.
Having just returned from the USA and about to fly out with Singapore I know I'm about to have issues with lounge access as I no longer have a valid membership card.
Anyone else come across this issue?

Yep, when I made it to Silver VFF, I got the email saying the pack was on its way. Three weeks later it hadn't arrived so I called VA and asked to send again. Finally arrived a further three weeks later.

I'll be hitting Gold in a months time, so will be interesting to see what happens this time around.

Anything with Australia Post in the middle is subject to the vagaries of the mail. All you can do is get them to send it again.

Can you contact velocity and get them to email you a letter confirming your status? Mrs B and I did this when in the states and I went from silver to gold. The letter was enough to get us past the lounge guardians at Tom Bradley.
From memory, it took at least 4 weeks for my gold pack to appear.

Yep but the virtual card on the Virgin Australia iPhone application came in handy! Delta accepted this in lieu of my valid card.

Ahh yes it would. Unbelievably, VA still doesn't have a Android app.
