Citadines Connect business hotel coming to Sydney Airport

The Citadines Connect business hotel brand will make its Australian debut in May 2019, taking over the footprint of swanky 1960's-themed Felix Hotel near Sydney Airport.

A new offshoot of the Citadines serviced residence brand, Citadines Connect business hotels “cater to frequent travellers who are constantly connected, offering a chic living experience in vibrant city destinations.”

Hallmarks of the Citadines Connect business hotels will include mobile keys, self check-in kiosks, ‘smart’ washing machines or laundromats, content streaming-enabled televisions and Google cloud printers.

Also in the mix: Grab & Go food and drink counters, meeting pods and 24/7 gymnasiums. Most Citadines Connect properties will lean towards offering studio rooms ranging from 18m² to 21m².

The Citadines Connect Sydney Airport's 150 rooms sport a contemporary design, with a premium king or queen bed and a 55-inch smart TV with Netflix streaming in every room.

The 12-storey hotel also features a Sky Bar, sky lounge and sweeping views of the airport and Botany Bay. Business travellers can work productively with free high-speed WiFi and plenty of USB charging outlets dotted throughout.

Citadines Connect Fifth Avenue New York, situated conveniently near Times Square and Fifth Avenue, is currently the only other business hotel that features the new branding.

Ascott is earmarking Hong Kong, Paris, Seoul, Tokyo and other popular destinations in Southeast Asia as the next locations for Citadines Connect hotels.
