Australian Business Traveller 2015 dinner

Australian Business Traveller 2015 dinner

We're considering hosting an end-of-year dinner for Australian Business Traveller readers, to be held in Sydney in late November or early-mid December.

There are quite a few formats to choose from – dinner at a casual restaurant, all-included dinner & drinks package at a higher-end venue and even a special event at Qantas's Centre Of Service Excellence at Alexandria – and quite a few price ranges, too.

We'd like to hear from you about which option appeals the most, and if the numbers stack up, we'll move ahead with hosting this dinner to mark the end of 2015!

Can we wear masks like those gatherings in the film Eyes Wide Shut?

Silence of the Lambs might be more appropriate?

I think this is a great idea. QF's COSE is unique and travel aficionados will love it! I would recommend though, in fairness, any subsequent events be shared with other carriers/suppliers. Do the rounds, round 1 - Qantas/One World, round 2 - Singapore Airlines / Star Alliance etc...

If I were still living in the East, I would definitely attend. This has the potential to be a great mix of, travel enthusiasts, business/social networking, product updates and a good drink/meal!

Would love to be there. As a seasoned road warrior It would be great to meet others with the added interest of the Freq flyer game.

I'm in Perth, but I'm interested enough to consider it, depending on work and other commitments at this relatively busy time in the social calendar.

I would suggest a Saturday night, so that out of towners can come in and go out without having to book time off work. With your various relationships in the industry (and with the notion that many of the guests are in a position to make or influence travel-related decisions in their companies) are you able to secure an accomodation deal at the venue, or if it is not at a hotel, at a Sydney Airport hotel to assist those flying in and out for the weekend?

I'm not a Business traveller anymore, but would definately fly into Sydney to attend if it was held at the QF CSE.
