Does anyone know which of the Virgin E190's have been upgraded to the new business class, and then if/where I can find info on whether that plane will be on a few of the E-Jet rout

Does anyone know which of the Virgin E190's have been upgraded to the new business class, and then if/where I can find info on whether that plane will be on a few of the E-Jet routes I'm flying over Xmas/New Year... Basically I want to know if it's worth the points to upgrade from flexi. Cheers!

MHerbert, as far as i know the only E190s that have the new business are VH-ZPE and VH-ZPK. Just have a look up on flightaware.com or thevasource.com -- you are really playing hit and miss with about 1 in 9 chance of getting on one of the refurbished planes -- hope this helps!

The points required are negligable anyway, especially with the half-points upgrade - so I might just do it anyway. Bit more space etc.

If it's any help, those two have been plying East Coast routes since the J class config, so if you're planning intra-WA flying, your chances are slim, but if you're thinking Canberra to somewhere, you'd have a better chance.

So far ZPA, ZPE, ZPG, and ZPK have been completed. I believe ZPG is on it's way back from CHC in the next few days.

If you run your seat selection you could easily find out if the flight is scheduled to have the new config. I also noticed that instead of E190 for aircraft type, it shows 'Not Available'.
