Gold Coast Airport will open a fast-track security lane for 'premium passengers' this weekend.
Airport spokesperson Karen Harrigan tells Australian Business Traveller that the new priority lane will operational from this Saturday December 1st, although the signage won't be erected until the following week.
The service will available to all passengers travelling in business class any domestic or international flights out of the Gold Coast.
It's also open to top-tier frequent flyers including Platinum-grade members of Qantas and Virgin Australia plus Air New Zealand's Gold Elite members.
With Qantas due to open its new Gold Coast Qantas Club lounge on Tuesday December 4th to complement the airline's three daily Sydney-Gold Coast flights, alongside Virgin Australia's own Gold Coast lounge and roster of business class flights, it seems a good time to be a Gold Coast business traveller!
